My work walks through the landscape, feels, observes what remains invisible and tries to turn it into image. My tool, photography, does not capture but seeks to coexist with the present through our memories. I think of landscape as strata of history (colonial, patriarchal, extractive), as negotiations among the living. I inhabit the border between art and anthropology, between the archive and the present, between what is known and what is felt when stepping on the earth.
