The text reflects on the role of representation in the experience of nature, questioning how images influence the division between nature and culture. Drawing on visual records of the Andes mountain range from different periods (dictatorship, post-dictatorship and the present), it juxtaposes the institutional and the personal archive, proposing a critical perspective that recognizes nature as an active agent that shapes life.
