The exhibition “Paisajes Privados” at Galería Bosque Nativo (Puerto Varas) presented the artist’s doctoral research, configuring a sensitive space to critically examine the colonial construction of landscape in Chile.
From a decolonial perspective, it engaged the garden as an everyday site to rework relationships between image, territory, and experience through photographic practices situated in southern Chile.
Through the installation of photographs, videos, and diagrams, the exhibition made visible the research processes, methodologies, and findings, returning these outcomes to the participating community and activating a situated dialogue with the territory.
