Parallel View / Miradas Paralelas

Photography as an exercise of pauses allows us to rescue that which fades away at a hundred kilometres per hour, making present the absent.
“Parallel Views” was a visual journey that rested on what was born from the road, as if waiting. The halt allowed us to focus on those images that, due to speed, become a blurry memory, a longing for a time that can only be appreciated in its stillness. To capture those objects that identify the inhabiting of people, with the intuition that we are in our absence, that inevitably we imbue everything around us with what we are, and this becomes palpable in our objects and spaces.

La fotografía como ejercicio de pausa permite rescatar aquello que se desvanece a cien kilómetros por hora, haciendo presente lo ausente.
“Miradas Paralelas” fue un recorrido visual que descansó en aquello que nacía del camino, como esperando. La detención permitió enfocar aquellas imágenes que debido a la velocidad se vuelven un recuerdo difuso, añoranza de un tiempo que sólo se puede apreciar en su quietud.
Plasmar aquellos objetos que identifican el habitar de las personas, con la intuición de que estamos en nuestra ausencia, de que inevitablemente impregnamos todo a nuestro alrededor con lo que somos y esto se hace palpable en nuestros objetos y espacios.
