Comercio Justo / Fair Trade  (2010)

Melipilla, Chile. 2010.

Fair Trade is a series made in Melipilla (Chile). Emphasizing the visual compositions of volumes and colors that characterize certain buildings, it seeks to rescue that local trading system that in a globalized world tend to become obsolete. Through a fixed and frontal framing, which winks at the new German objectivity, it seeks to generate visual parallels between the different images, highlighting their belonging to a place and a time that seems almost extinct.

Comercio justo es una serie realizada en Melipilla (Chile). Poniendo énfasis en las  las composiciones visuales de volúmenes y colores que caracterizan ciertas edificaciones, se busca rescatar aquel sistema de comercio local que en un mundo globalizado tienden a volverse obsoleto. A través de un encuadre fijo y frontal, el cual hace guiños a la nueva objetividad alemana, se busca generar paralelos visuales entre las distintas imágenes, resaltando su pertenencia a un lugar y un tiempo que parece casi extinto.
